About Lumina
The Lumina Series is a two-part comic book that follows the story of Arah along
with her family and friends, and how they resolve different types of enmeshment symptoms in
their families.
The Lumina Series
“Utang Na Loob” follows the story of Arah Reyes and her journey to finding out things about herself after going on a camping trip with her friends. She realizes that there are so many things she has yet to learn while her peers have already figured them out, feeling left out and behind.

Years after their camping trip, Arah’s family celebrates the twins’ birthday and the graduation of Arah and her friends. They reminisce on the stories they shared and how far they’ve come as friends and unexpectedly open up about each of their families.
